Description: Beautiful vintage Ironstone teapot by Ellgreave, a div of Woods & Sons, made in England. I do not know the exact year it was made but the logo on the bottom was adopted in 1967 from what I could find on the history of the company. The company closed its doors for good in 2005, was started in the late 1700's per notes on the company. You have an opportunity to own a piece of history as well as a beautiful decorative, and usable, item to show case in your cabinets. There is a small chip in the lid, see pictures above, which show the lid alone and the pot with the lid on it. It would also look great with a bouquet of real, or silk, flowers inside. The pot will be wrapped in bubblewrap and cushioned to prevent damage in transit. Should it arrive damaged contact me immediately with pictures of the damage, keep the pot, the packing, and the box, until I contact you with further directions in case the Post Office needs to see it. Thank you for looking Item comes from a smoke and pet free home
