Decorated with a border of hand painted pink wild roses with relief molded shell and scrollwork designs with gilt highlights. Signed by the artist VRP. Marked Limoges in a green ribbon above France. Also marked in red Elite Works Limoges France. This is an overglaze decorating mark used by Bawo & Dotter in Limoges France between 1900 and 1914. Has some wear to the gilding and an in manufacture stacking flake to the foot rim, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
