Description: An elegant and understated high-quality heavy pewter tray of many potential uses. 10" x 7.5 inches. Clearly a city piece of quality done by a skilled maker. A pleasure to hold and a unique edge treatment that at least I have never seen before either in pewter or silver. Excellent condition. No bends or twists, sits perfectly flat.. Surface uncleaned--no significant scratches and a very clear and deep mark verso. Carnation with a large crown and apparently the letter "W" on the base of the crown. I've loaned my marks book out and a year later am still patiently awaiting its return--but almost certainly a London mark of a very skilled maker..
