Greasing the frozen note smoothly to the next note produces a portamento-like effect on the synth. You can also layer sounds one after another each time you press the footswitch, and in this case you can set how much of the previous note is left. There is also an auto mode where the unit automatically freezes single notes and chords without the need to operate the footswitch. This model also features an effects loop, which allows you to apply yet another effect to the Superego's effect sound.
