The circuitry of the new Op-Amp Big Muff is a faithful reproduction of the period when it was also known as the IC or V4 Big Muff, with the addition of a few practical features such as a compact die-cast chassis and true bypass. The Op-Amp Big Muff first came to prominence when it was used by the brilliant Billy Corgan on the Smashing Pumpkins' 1993 album SiameseDream. After shooting a video test of the instrument, Billy Corgan had this to say about the reissue model: "I'm very happy with it. The magic is still in the box. I can still get what I'm looking for."
