Description: Beautiful specimen of electric blue fibrous chalcanthite from the Planet Mine in La Paz County, Arizona with nice fibrous crystals exhibiting the gorgeous color of this mineral. Nice specimen on a piece of brown matrix measuring about 2 X 1.5 inches. This mine has been closed to collecting for years and briefly reopened so some limited additional material is now available. The cube is in the picture to present a size comparison and measures 1 cm. The cube is not a part of the sale.
