Description: This lot contains eight 7-inch 45 RPM square dancing records, and each one comes with its own call sheet. All eight showed up for the first picture, then they are pictured, front and back (even when the back of the call sheet is blank) in the following order:Hi-Hat # 355 -- "Step to the Rear" on both sides, with calls on Side 1 by Dick Houlton, and an instrumental version on Side 2 by Dick Cary.Windsor # 4684 -- "Jiffy Mixer" and "Hawaiian Charms" by the Pete Lofthouse Band.Silver Sounds # SSR-109 -- "Kokomo" on both sides, with calls on Side 1 by Bruce McCue, and an instrumental version on Side 2 by Chicago Fire.Old Timer # S-8141 -- "The Battle of New Orleans" on both sides, with calls on Side 1 by Bill Castner, and an instrumental version on Side 2 by the Four Squares.MacGregor # 2056 -- "Gonna Have a Ball" on both sides, with calls on Side 1 by Bruce Johnson, and an instrumental version on Side 2 by Frank Messina and the Mavericks.Grenn # 12093 -- "Ride Ride Ride" on both sides, with calls on Side 1 by Johnny Davis, and an instrumental version on Side 2 by the Al Russ Orchestra.Folkraft # 1139 -- "Petronella" and "Lady in the Boat" by the Folkraft Americana Orchestra.Merry=Go-Round # MGR-065 -- "Pennies from Heaven" on both sides, with calls on Side 1 by Pete Metzger, and an instrumental version on Side 2 by the Johnny Catron Orchestra.I haven't cleaned them or play-tested them, but they all look to be in about VG+ or better condition, still beautifully shiny, and with very little visible surface wear. The two most likely to fall below VG+ on playback are the MacGregor and the Silver Sounds.Please check the pictures for condition issues, including any writing or stickers on the labels.
