Fans of the eminent slowcore band will be pleasantly surprised by this comparatively obscure curio, which peppers its folky-bluesy, nigh poppy singer-songwriting basis with bursts of noise and sprawling sonic collage. The reissue also includes bonus tracks and unreleased demos, but the main wonder is its audiophilic, emo drawl - a complex project for sure, and one we're sad didn't hear more exploration.
