Description: I have for sale a souvenir for the inauguration of Edwin Sydney Stuart in 1907 as the 26th Governor of the state of Pennsylvania. Stuart was born December 28, 1853 & died March 21, 1937. He was an American politician. He was Mayor of Philadelphia 1891-1995 & governor of Pennsylvania 1907-1911. This souvenir is in the shape of a keystone, it is aluminum, approximately 1 3/4 by 1 9/16 inches and in uncirculated condition. The hole is original to the souvenir. One side shows the bust of Stuart in the center. Above the bust it reads IN - COMMEMORATION - OF - THE INAUGURATION and below the bust EDWIN S. STUART - 26TH GOVERNOR OF - PENNSYLVANIA - JAN. 15 A.D. 1907. The other side shows the Pennsylvania Capitol building in the center. Above the building it reads THE CAPITOL OF PENNSYLVANIA. Below the building it reads AT HARRISBURG - DEDICATED - OCTOBER 4, - A.D. 1906.
