Other minor edgewear, and occasinoal foxing to prelims, but a clean, sound, handsome set. Occasional tiny stress tears to maps at their hinges, but no foxing, and the color fresh. An appealing mid-19th century edition of Gibbon's masterwork, uncommon in this elaborate binding. Very good.
