Description: Offered today is this awesome piece of Americana! Edward H Bohlin has been in business since the 1920's. Originally Bohlin made tooled leather gear for the stars in Hollywood Westerns and eventually went on to make buckles, spurs, slides and saddle embellishments in silver and gold. Old Hollywood stars including, Jackie Cooper, Clark Gable, John Wayne, Barbara Stanwyck, Clara Bow, Hopalong Cassidy (William Boyd), the Lone Ranger (Clayton Moore and John Hart), Roy Rogers, Ray βCrashβ Corrigan, The Cisco Kid (Duncan Renaldo), among others, wore Bolin originals on and off the movie sets. You can read more history on the Bolin web site. This gorgeous sterling silver filigree belt buckle with a five point star pays tribute to all of the move stars who wore Bohlin pieces. Bohlin calls this style a "trophy" buckle. It measures 2 x 3" and will fit a 1&1/2" belt. Weighs 112 grams. This is a pre-owned piece in excellent condition with no dents or repairs. Very minimal wear with a few faint scratches which could be buffed out, but not at all necessary. Exceptionally well made. Please examine all photos for detail and email with questions prior to purchase. USPS shipping includes insurance. Thanks for looking!
