Made of raw American walnut , I painstakingly crafted this piece to last a lifetime. I do not stain these , as you may select a stain or select my offerings. Ideal as a compact , cute storage box for children and adults , office stationary items , or for whatever you might feel the need to store in nostalgic style. This piece includes a fold down door with a slot for a smart tablet or phone , incudes a dimmer switch light socket housed in a removable walnut and pine , stand alone box lamp that has a 6 foot on / off UL listed switch. This gives you two modes of shutoff and a full range dimmer to adjust the ambiance of the 40 to 60 Watt globe Edison bulb. Move the lamp anywhere on your desk to add light where you need it. A drawer and swivel compartment gives novel space for small desk items. This is the only sample built in American walnut. All others I will make with Arkansas Pine and will varnish in several colors. 40 watt glove incandescent bulb included.
