It has actually seen very little use. A few commercial shoots, outdoor and indoor, and one excursion to a desert park to shoot outdoor scenes. The slider and modules have all been kept in inside, climate-controlled storage for the last number of years. I tested the components before this auction and all units work fine. Along with my other photos, I have posted still shots from a current video, showing the units in action. (The approval process to post a video here takes too long.) There are some expected scratches and cosmetic wear, but the components function well.These come with their original Edelkrone boxes.(See photos & video. This kit includes:• SliderPLUS PRO Large (21”) (expands to aprox. twice width)• Action Module w/Canon Battery Bracket Bundle• Target Module w/Canon Battery Bracket Bundle• LBracket for Target Module (still in original sealed bag)• Soft Case for the Slider head• 4x Batteries and charger.• N3Cable for select Nikon cameras• Original cloth belt (see note below)• AC adapters for both modules• Allen wrenches, etc.• Quick reference instructions (I derived from online sources & printed for my use) This SliderPLUS PRO is currently mounted with the extra toothed rubber belt for use with the Target Module. When mounted with this belt, the unit functions accurately with that module onboard or with just the Action Module. It will not slide smoothly by hand. For smooth manual sliding, the original cloth belt (without geared teeth) is included for use without the motion control modules. This kit is offered as-is, but it is in good shape and, as mentioned, has just been tested. The only “quirk” I have noticed is the Action Module system electronic control display can occasionally get stuck and may need to be turned off and back on to reset it. Features: • This SliderPLUS unit is made to extend outward on either side of the move by sliding itself as well as the camera. This increases its width range from the physical 21 inches of the bar out to a total effective width of about twice that length when used on a tripod. This is a great feature, as it makes a wider move with a much smaller and compact unit. Original sales blurb: “The SliderPlus is the only 2 feet slider in the world that you can fit in your backpack.” Keep in mind that with that longer reach, a sturdy tripod will be needed with a hard lock-down to keep the unit supported and prevent tip-overs. • The Action Module programs and executes smooth and repeatable moves across the slider. It has variable speed and smoothing at the beginning and ends of the move. • The Target Module continuously aims the camera at one subject, rotating to keep the subject centered as the slider progresses. This module is composed of the metal-column motor unit that supports the camera and the controller unit that attaches to the left side of the slider. • The L-Bracket allows the camera to be mounted in different positions relative to the slider and subject. I purchased this $70 “extra” when I bought the kit, but never had an occasion to use it, so it is still in its original and unopened plastic bag. I’ve included the four Canon type batteries for the two modules and a charger. Also in the mix are the AC adapters for when not using batteries. I’ve also included my own printed notes copied from online sources as a “Quick Reference” for how to do everything with the kit. -------- I paid $2,410 for this entire kit, new, back in 2014.
