Description: Up for sale is a monster UPS - it's rated at 7KVA / 5KW and battery runtime is 12 minutes at full load, 33 minutes at half load. It cost ~$12-$14K new and around half of that used. It takes four 12V batteries which mount in the base of the unit (not included). This came to me from an EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) surplus auction and weighs over 500lbs. It's in good cosmetic shape but with no batteries I lack the means to test it so it is sold as-is. There is no evidence of failure (burn marks or smell). The EPA does not normally sell equipment that is non-functional without disclosing that fact. Cheers
