Description: For auction is a rare original movie theater poster for Easy Rider, the 1969 motorcycle, drug classic starring Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, Jack Nicholson, Karen Black and Phil Specter. This poster is the iconic and desirable image of Fonda sporting his American flag biker jacket, in the much sought after Style C. It measures 27x40 and preserves the original fold lines from shipping to the theater in 1969. It has never been pinned or taped to a wall and has hung in a frame in my home for over 35 years. It exhibits some honest fading, consistent with its age, otherwise in very good condition. No tears (except slight separation along seams at the very edge, very small and will be under frame), no stains or water marks. Some edge wear that would be covered by framing. There are two tiny pinholes along crossing folds, as indicated in photos. They are so small I didn't know they existed until I removed it from the frame for photos and held it up to the light. There is a small scuff or printer's ink mark well outside the image area near the left edge. A frame will cover it also. This poster will display very well. This is a rare opportunity to own a hard-to-find vintage poster from this iconic classic film. Perfect for a media room, man cave or office.
