Description: Antique Divided Back EASTER HOLIDAY Postcard PC LIGHTLY EMBOSSED Dated 1915. Card is unposted with a brief message written in ink. BEAUTIFUL ART NOUVEAU ILLUSTRATION of 2 young GIRLS in a NATURE SETTING SIGNED by Internationally known artist MARGARET EVANS PRICE. In addition to being an artist, Ms Price was a writer, children’s book illustrator, and co-founder of FISHER-PRICE TOYS with her husband Herman Fisher in 1930. As a TOY DESIGNER, Ms Price was best known for creating the push-pull toys from her children’s books. Card is in good condition according to the Postcard Rating System with extremely mild corner wear and extremely mild discoloration in the form of a single word written on the front of the card. Otherwise, I see no evidence of edge wear, rips, tears, creases, bends, or pinholes. But, please see photos and you be the judge. Standard size 5.5” x 3.5”.
