Description: EARLY WOOD DOUGH BOWL With BURL & OLD TIN REPAIR This is a really fabulous old wooden large round dough bowl. It is carved from a single piece of hard wood. The wood has a beautiful grain including swirling burls, giving it beautiful rustic charm. The color is a warm, rich brown. There is an old tin repair remaining that covered a now partially exposed crack. This was done to lengthen the usefulness of the old bowl. Very frugal and gives some definite interest to the bowl. It has been cleaned and has a beautiful handrubbed waxed patina. Although there is an old crack the bowl is very solid. This unevenly shaped round bowl measures 18"-19" diameter X 6" deep. This is truly a stunning handmade piece to add interest to your decor. A really great early original authentic piece to add to your collection or decor . It makes a stunning display.
