Description: Nice larger pair of oversized sixth plate daguerreotypes. Both cases are the same. The man's case is in excellent condition while the woman's is splitting at the binding. Both images are super clear and have no condition issues. The images measure about 4 x 3.25 compared to the usual 3.25 x 2.75 of a sixth plate. These two images are just a tad smaller than the standard quarter plate image. Early and in great condition with tinting to her table. Please see my other auctions as I have recently purchased a collection of about 125 cased images that I will be listing over the next couple of weeks. Thanks
