Description: Rare early original vintage Real Photo Post Card (RPPC) shows a town view of Lakeview Oregon around turn of the century. Lakeview is a town in Lake County, Oregon. The city bills itself as the "Tallest Town in Oregon" because of its elevation, 4,802 feet above sea level. Lakeview is situated in the Goose Lake Valley at the foot of the Warner Mountains and at the edge of Oregon's high desert country. Its economy is based on agriculture, lumber production, and government activities. In addition, tourism is an increasingly important part of the city's economy. Oregon's Outback Scenic Byway passes through Lakeview. Photograph measures 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches and is in excellent condition with no bends, tears, or creases and is very sharp and has strong tones with good contrast and clarity(see scans). Back has message and is postmarked LAKEVIEW ORE - 1903. It has an early Franklin one cent stamp. Please email with any questions and please "VIEW SELLERS OTHER ITEMS". Thanks.
