Visible in photos. There's tanning, foxing, and the book is clearly worn. Having said that the front cover looks amazing, there's a surprising amount of gold gilt still present and the darker hue of navy is hardly faded, on the the binding side its a bit faded, but still looks good. In sum this book is not in good shape, but it still looks good as a decor piece, its readable, but I wouldn't that would risk damaging. List of translated versions shows this was made in 1873.The book itself is undated, however, it is public knowledge and shown on dating guides, that the publisher only operated at that Broome Steet address 1866-1881.Book is roughly 7.5x5.5x1.5 inches.
