Description: Nice looking tapestry type wall hanging. I am not sure of the age of this one, but early to mid 19th century is my ballpark.I am also not sure if it was hand done. The design, which looks to be hand stitched, was accomplished in several different colors, along with metallics. There are birds and bowls, or vases, on an off white or beige silk ground. It's backed with a later 19th century silk, and has rings along the top for hanging on a wall.It's edged with metallic trim, this also most likely 19th or early 20th century. In good condition, with some discoloration, and some wear to the colored threads. \It measures 33 3/4" wide by 34 1/2" tall. The silk backing is in good condition.
