Description: An early 1900’s Elmer Brown Dairy, advertising thermometer. What helps date the thermometer is the three-digit phone number as early 1900’s. I do not know the State or town the thermometer came from but the thermometer was found in Iowa years ago. The thermometer states “COM PLIMENTS OF ELMER BROWN DAIRY,TELEPHONE 829” The thermometer is 5 1/8 x 4 ¼ inches in size. The thermometer red line goes all the way to the top so I do not know if the thermometer is actually working. Please see the other vintage items I have listed on eBay. Thanks for looking.
