Description: EAPG The Fox and The Crow Water Pitcher c. 1890 made by Dalzell, Gilmore and Leighton Glass Co. This piece was produced as an individual item and was not part of a line. A historic early piece with great pressed features. The water pitcher stands 8.5 inches tall and measures 7 inches from the handle to the lip. The piece is in good condition for its age with some imperfections and either a straw mark or minor crack in the interior base. (see photos of inside the pitcher) The stuck handle also shows the imperfections of age. The pitcher has a slight whisper of purple coloring to it, and when put under a black light it shows some iridescent yellow.... (See photos.) A wonderful historic piece that I have treasured in my collection for a number of years. Now it's time for someone else to care for and enjoy.
