Description: Offered for your consideration is a clear glass spoon vase made by the Tiffin Glass Company (1880-1890) in a pattern called "Ball and Swirl Band", although the original name of this pattern is unknown. This pattern was introduced circa 1888. The spooner features an engraved fern leaf and stem design. The spooner measures 4 inches (10.2 cm) tall and is 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) in diameter at rim. The spooner is in fine used condition with no cracks nor repairs. There are small chips and flea bites on base, plus a few light surface scratches. See photos. This spooner is used so there may e additional indications of use. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, shear (straw) marks, and other minor imperfections due to the manufacturing process used at the time.
