Description: Offered for sale is a LARGE and beautiful antique WATER PITCHER. It was made by the U.S. Glass Co. of Pittsburgh, PA. The pattern is their no. 15043, also called FEATHER DUSTER. The pattern consists large fan- or feather-like shapes surrounding a row of round sunburst medallions. This pattern was introduced in 1895. The water pitcher stands 8 3/4 inches (22.2cm) tall to the spout, and measures 8 inches (20.3cm) lengthwise from handle to spout. The rim of the pitcher is 4 3/4 inches (12.1cm) wide, and the base is 4 1/4 inches (10.8cm) in diameter. A U.S. quarter is shown in the third picture, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs.
