Magnesite is short for magnesium carbonate, and is famous for its dye-able and carving qualities. This Magnesite was mined, cut and polished in East Asia. These beads measure 18mm long by 14mm wide and the crystal rondelles measure 6x4mm. The hole size measures about .5mm to 1mm. The strands measure about 7" inches long. There are approximately 8 starfish beads and 9 crystal rondelle beads on a strand. There are 2 strands in a package (34 beads total).
