One of the nicest things about celebrating my birthday is that fact that my friends are so good about sending messages of good wishes. Nothing could please me more than yours, sent on behalf of the Association of Graduates of the U.S.M.A.” Both Eisenhower and Groves were graduates of West Point, Eisenhower in 1915 and Groves in 1918. Groves served as President of the Association of Graduates at West Point from 1962 to 1965 and Eisenhower received the Association’s Sylvanus Thayer Award in May 1961. ACCOMPANIED WITH A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY FROM UNIVERSITY ARCHIVES, THE WORLD’S LEADING AUTOGRAPH COMPANY The letter is one page on Eisenhower’s personal letterhead, signed in Gettysburg, PA on October 16, 1962, measures 10.5” by 7.25”, in very fine condition, and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity from University Archives, the world’s leading autograph company.
