"The Other Half" is a drama starring Florence Vidor, Charles Meredith, Zasu Pitts, David Butler, Alfred Allen and others. A man betrays his youthful ideals when he inherits his father's company. The film was created by the renowned director King Vidor. By the standards of the average silent film "The Other Half" has acceptable quality and is perfectly watchable. The first reel apparently does not survive, but this does not affect the overall continuity of the film. A couple scenes at the end are missing and a title card tells the rest of the story. The film has done better than 70% that are lost forever. The movie is accompanied by quality music that greatly enhances the viewing experience.
