Each volume has 8-9 charts. There is a schematic of the aerodrome and about half of them have aerial photos as well. What struck me about these facilities was that there were no runways - only open fields. It looks a bit like a soccer field, only irregular with some buildings at one end. Books were scanned at 400 lpi. Each page has been hand-edited. Special consideration has been given to the halftone images for clarity. There is a full-text index across all 10 books for searching.
