Description: I purchased this one owner collection from the antique dealer who got them from an estate sale. From some research, I find that these came from the estate of Valery E. Grothe (May 24, 1928 - Nov 5, 2004). Born in Burlington, Iowa, died in Des Moines. Most of these have hand written notes on back, telling when she sent for the photo, and when she received it. All dates are from 1942 to 1944. She graduated High School in 1946. Worked as a Postal Clerk in Los Angeles. Never married. Original publicity portrait printed photo. Many of these are personalized to Valery. Some very hard to find "lesser/character" actors. I can offer NO proof of authenticity of signatures. They sure look right to me, and I have been in this business for over 45 years. Approximately 4" x 5". Please bid / order only if you can afford to and intend to pay. NO RETURNS for ANY reason.
