Dumorierite is a fairly hard mineral and will take a nice polish. (Mohs scale 7) It is sometimes used as cost effective replacement for lapis, as they appear similar. This slab was obtained from a lapidary collector, location and date unknown. This is a nice solid piece that can be used for lapidary to make cabochons or polished and used as a display specimen. Dimensions are approximately 5.55" x 3" (see photos) and 6.39mm thick. Please note this is in an unpolished piece. Weighs 157.1 grams. Items will ship within 1-2 business days.
