This latest version uses metal bolts in place of plastic posts, has anti-slip cork skirt, and is now available in standard and bordered frame sizes. Inspired by darkroom carriers and simplistic by design. It functions very similar to my 120 and 4x5 scanning tables and is primarily meant for using the "DSLR Scanning Method" to scan film. Magnets are embedded into the part to help press your negative down flat. To use, place your film (emulsion side up) on the base and align to the frame you wish to capture. Place the magnetic top on to flatten the film, fire your camera's shutter. To capture another frame, lift the top, re-align the film and repeat.
