Description: Color postcard of Gladwin Park. The park was the site of the city of Detroit's water works pumping station from Lake St. Clair. it is still existent but is referred to as Water Works Park today. The park was opened in 1910, so this card is probably fairly representative of how it looked when opened. The card is cancelled in Detroit Aug 19, 1913 with a machine cancel and sent to Flint MI. The card as a couple of corners bumped and some age spots from being over 100 years old, but otherwise in good condition.
