Description: I offer a set of 4 DRINK COASTERS – 3 handcrafted from vintage 33 1/3 RPM single records and one EP style Demonstration record. This grouping is a little different in that the Coasters are fashioned from some unusual Stereo discs that Epic Records experimented with. All have small center holes, played in Stereo at 33 1/3 RPMs and had just one or two songs per side. The labels, except for the Demo, are brightly colored and are particularly attractive. The label area has been cut out, the edges smoothed and they've been sealed with a protective waterproof coating to keep moisture or liquid from damaging the label. We’ve also applied a layer of cork to the backs to protect your furniture. The coasters are about 4 inches in diameter. This set of Coasters have been fashioned from Stereo records released by Dave Grusin (2), Georgia Gibbs & Garland Jeffreys. These drink coasters would make an excellent gift for the record collector, music fan or enthusiast you know. The picture shows the specific coasters being offered in this Auction. YOU WILL RECEIVE THE 4 COASTERS AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE. Separate photos show the bottom of a sample Coaster with the cork backing applied and a representative grouping of Coasters and a tempting drink, neither of which are included in this Auction. I offer a variety of Coaster sets with specific label designs or illustrating certain types of music.
