Description: This is a teapot by Doug Wylie as pictured. This is in great shape with no cracks. A pop or pit may be normal from production. The length is approximately eleven inches from handle to spout and it stands approximately six inches tall to the top of the lid. The background color is a darker blue with lighter blues and green design. It is not marked Doug Wylie but was purchased from a specialty shop at the shore selling Doug Wylie. This is a heavy pottery piece with a whale tail as the handle and a whale on the front of the teapot. There is also a whale tail on the lid. The white spot on the handle area may be from manufacturing. It is not a break and not a weak spot. It feels rough but I have noticed that other pieces also have a white area in a similar location. A similar white spot is also on the lid and this would be from manufacturing. The bottom may have a small chip at two places in the finish. This does not weaken the piece and seems only cosmetic. These can be seen in the photos and in my opinion are very small. Shipping and handling is included and I package carefully. I ship within 3 days of receiving payment.
