Description: Nice Double-Dry Ginger Ale bottle, 12ozs., full. This bottle was bottled in Wilson N.C. a town of around 50,000 present day. The condition is nice and the graphics are solid. There is blemishing from age. The cap is somewhat rusted, but readable. I think the bottle will clean up a bit more as I only have it a light cleaning. Please see the condition notes and pics. Double-Dry was a product of Double Cola of Chattanooga, TN. It was introduced in the mid- 1930's. Prior to being called Double Cola, the company was called Seminole Flavor Company. The name was changed to The Double-Cola Company in 1953. This particular bottle still has the name "Seminole Flavor Company" on the labeling. So, I would say that this bottle was 1940's to the early 1950's in date. THANKS FOR LOOKING!!
