Beginning in early summer and continuing until the fall weather sets in, the plant is covered with magnificent blooms, so fragrant that a single plant perfumes the garden. These compact plants are perfect for containers or as a scene-stealer in the garden. Datura is a perennial in zones 9 and warmer and usually lives about 4 or 5 years under good conditions.
