Early on Doris Leeper's career peaked as a trailblazer of today's still continuing and distinctive Atlantic Center for the Arts, that she founded in 1982. And during 1975 Doris Leeper became instrumental in creating The Canaveral National Seashore by an Act of Congress, 24 miles of beaches, dunes, and wetlands. A Duke University art history graduate.
