Like fine saddlery designs, it develops a rich patina over time. This handbag is in very good, preowned condition. It has somewhat of a rustic, weathered and vintage look and feel to it. It looks like leather conditioner and/or weather repellent or protectant has been applied to the leather. There are some exterior scratches, rubs and scuffs that are common with the Florentine leather. There’s veining, pebbling and wrinkles on the leather. The exterior has developed some darker patina, and there’s some a lot of color variations. There’s some scratches and light tarnish on the gold hardware. The interior lining is in good shape, and fairly clean for a preowned bag. Overall, this is a gorgeous, luxe handbag.
