Dooney Bourke Florentine Leather Small Satchel Black

Description: This listing is for 1 Dooney & Bourke Small Satchel in Florentine vachetta leather, and featuring the color black. The stitching and whip stitching is done in the color brown tmoro. The bag is in very good condition. On the front right strap, back right strap, and around the feet of the bag there is a white cast that I was only partially able to remove. Perhaps with time and care it can be completely removed. I am unsure of whether or not it is an imperfection in the leather taking to the dye. Designed by the founder Peter Dooney himself, this model is handmade in 5 sizes. Formerly called the "Small", it is now just called the "Satchel". This is the second to largest model. Florentine leather is Dooney's premier leather and imported from Florence, Italy. It is a top grain leather, which means that it is the highest-quality leather a tannery can produce from a hide. Because it is unstripped and untreated, it is a heavier leather. It smells divine and ages beautifully.
