Description: Patchwork Doll Quilt and Pillow for 18-Inch Dolls, American Girl AG, and Others, Reproduction Feedsack Prints, Blue, Red and Yellow Color 4-Patches Handmade patchwork doll quilt and pillow for play with dolls and toy bears of many sizes, including the 18-inch sizes such as American Girl and others. Also may be used as a baby's lovey blanket or a basket liner or as a table topper. This listing includes the little quilt and pillow only. No toy doll or bed is offered. MEASUREMENTS: Quilt is approximately 22 inches long and 19 inches wide. The pillow is approximately 5-1/2 inches by 8 inches rectangular and puffy. The back of this quilt is a little pink, red, black and white floral print fabric. The pillow is solid white with an added lavender eyelet lace ruffle on one side. The pillow is all one piece and there is no separate pillow case. The solid red binding is securely sewn on by machine for durability and is of double thickness. The fabrics used are from my collection of 1930's feedsack reproduction quilting cottons and premium white muslin. These prints are commonly called "Aunt Grace's feedsack" fabrics by quilters as they represent styles that would have been used during the 1930's, were printed on farm grain feedsacks for a period of time, and were cherished by many farmers' wives. These fabrics are regular quilting cotton fabric and not real feedsacks, of course. The little quilt does contain real cotton lightweight batting. The pillow is stuffed with polyester fiberfill and has a lavender eyelet lace ruffle. The quilt and pillow are hand or machine washable, hang or lie flat to dry or toss on low. They are securely sewn and can withstand the wash and much playtime. The quilt will acquire a quilty or crinkled personality when washed. Shrinking should be minimal (but probably 1/2" to 3/4") as the fabrics were preshrunk before being sewn, but the inside cotton batting was not. It will be even softer and more flexible and cuddly with each wash. This is a finished handmade quilt and pillow, made by the Seller in a smoke-free home studio. It was quilted in a loopy daisy flower design on my longarm (very big) quilting machine, just like a big quilt would be, exactly the same. The quilt and pillow shown in the photographs are the exact same ones you will receive. They are already made and ready to ship to you!
