With Distinctions, numbering your home has never been so simple.How to Install Distinction House NumbersStep 1Using masking tape, place template in desired location and check that they are level.Step 2Center punch the mounting holes where indicated and remove templates.Step 3Floating Mount: Use a 1/8” drill bit to drill 1” deep. Next, use a 1/4” bit to finish mounting holes.Flush Mount: Use a 1/8” drill bit to drill 1-1/2" deep. Next, use a 5/16” bit to finish mounting holes.Step 4Attach studs to the back of each number using small adjustable wrench. Insert number to confirm fit. Note: do not over tightenStep 5Remove number. Then fill mounting holes with clear silicon caulk. Push the number into the mounting holes.Step 6Use masking tape to hold the number in place while the caulk cures.
