Description: Here is a rare, possibly unique Disneyland collectible: A prototype "Ghostess" Little Monsters Cast Member Name Tag or badge, in orange and black. These were obtained from a former Disneyland employee's estate that was involved in designing badges--some were selected for use in the park, and some were not. Because they were prototypes, they were made in different styles and colors and did not have actual pins on the back. The badge is 2 1/2" long. Circa 1980s-90s. These were planned for a "Little Monsters" special event at Disneyland--an annual private party for Cast Members with young children, giving them a chance to trick-or-treat at a child-friendly event. Men who didn't have a personalized name badge received the "Ghost" name tag, while women received the "Ghostess" name tag. These were replaced with "Boo Crew" name tags in the early 2000s. Name tag does show some light scuffing and surface scratches. I haven't tried to clean it. See also my other Little Monsters badges being listed!
