PURCHASED NEW IN 1988, NEVER READ (I had other reading copies) AND STORED IN OUR DARKENED WAREHOUSE OVER THIRTY FIVE (35) YEARS, THE COVERS ARE TIGHT, BRIGHT AND COMPLETELY UNFADED, AND THE INTERIOR PAGES BRIGHT, GLOSSY, CRISP ON THEIR ORIGINAL MILKY WHITE PAPER STOCK. THE DUST JACKET IS BRIGHT, GLOSSY, LUSTROUS AND COMPLETELY UN-FADED. THE BINDING IS SO TIGHT IT WILL BE IMMEDIATELY OBVIOUS THE BOOK HAS NEVER BEEN READ, OR EVEN OPENED FULLY. BOOK IS STILL BRIGHT, GLOSSY AND LOOKS BRAND-NEW. The only minor defect is a bit of age yellowing on the INSIDE of the Dust Jacket, mostly on the back and back flap (which in turn, slightly stained only the inside bacover)-- caused by a stupid Mylar plastic "Dust Jacket Protector". Also, over nearly forty years of dust buildup on the very top of the pages caused a bit of age staining on that surface only (NOT mold/mildew, since NONE bled down into the interior pages).None of this affects the book covers, Exterior of the DJ, or the interior pages-- which are all still Pristine. OTHER THAN THIS "HIDDEN" MINOR DEFECT, YOU WILL NOT FIND A MORE PRISTINE MINT COPY ANYWHERE.
