In Japan, it is better known as "Beauty and the Beast" by the Shiki Theatre Company. This watch was released in the US around 1994 and is limited to 2,500 pieces. There are no numbers on the dial, just dots at the 0, 3, 6, and 9 oclock positions, and it is decorated with the Beast logo familiar from the musical. The back of the unit is engraved with the words "****/2500 LIMITED EDITION" to indicate that it is a limited production. (The "****" part is the actual serial number.) It is also engraved with "JAPAN MOVT", suggesting it is a Japanese-made movement. There is no indication of the watch maker or brand. The leather band has "GENUINE LEATHER" engraved on the back. The material of the case and glass is unknown, but I think its stainless steel or plastic. This item has been stored unused at home, so the back cover of the main unit is loose. The hard case (black) looks clean, and the paper case (white) that covers it is also clean with no stains.
