The specimen features very good coverage of dioptase crystals on matrix. The crystals are blocky rhombohedrons that measure up to 8 mm. A druse of tiny malachite crystals covers portions of the specimen. The dioptase crystals have excellent deep color and flashes of gem fire. Most of the crystals are undamaged. The specimen has a sculptural top and lies perfectly for display with a sawn bottom.
