Polak's works combine sophisticated use of color with an Expressionist approach to the application of the pigment. The surface of the canvas is built up texturally for a relief quality that catches your eye, creating an inviting piece that draws you in. He passed away in 2008.This beautiful piece matted and framed. There is slight discoloration on the matting and gold trim as shown in the photos but still a truly stunning piece.Approximately 30" x 30" overall
