Description: DIGITAL WATER/OIL TEMPERATURE GAUGE, HIGH PRECISION Up for sale is a compact size (1x2x3" or 24 x 48 x75mm) digital thermometer for engine water or oil temperature monitoring. Model is SYL-1813A. Unlike most of other oil/water temperature gauges on the market that use thermistor sensor, this gauge has a Pt100 RTD sensing element. The advantage of the RTD is better accuracy and wider temperature range. It can measure from -199 C to 250 C (or -199F to 500F) with 0.1 degree resolution and less than 1 degree error in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. No other water/oil temperature gauges can match its performance. The meter has a bright Amber LED display that is easy to read from a distance as compared with many dim LCD type digital thermometers. The programmable alarm will turn on a LED in the front panel to get driver's attention if the temperature is above the setting point. It will also close a relay output port that can be used to turn on a buzzer, or turn on a cooling fan. The meter stores the peak temperature with time that can be checked later. It can also operate in the peak holding mode so that only the maximum temperature is displayed. The brightness of LED display can be synchronized with headlight. When the headlight is turned on in the night, the display will be dimmed by the illumination signal. It can also be dimmed directly from the key pad. The mounting of the sensor (PT100A-NPT-4M) is 1/8" NPT. The length of the probe is 22 mm (from the end of the thread, about the same length as VDO 1/8 NPT water/oil sensor). Cable length: 4 meters.
