Description: Perfect for Xmas holiday caroling. For consideration is a cozy handmade, 2-piece Victorian/Dickens' style capelet & long skirt. This outfit is child sizing & is adjustable about a 6/7 but is adjustable at the waist & capelet can be Gibson style (shorter than Victorian capelets). It is a fun plaid of red & ivory which is a stamped-on plaid (not woven). The fully lined capelet is has a lovely vintage collar w/ a red ribbon woven through it attached. The vintage collar is in nice condition. The capelet is a seamless cut, and it closes at the neckline with the red ribbon tie. The back is adorned at the center top w/ a black button w/ a red tassel attached. The skirt has an elastic drawstring waist for tying off to your fit inside the back center seam. The waist band is top stitched for a nice finish. The sweep is wide enough for a crinoline under it but not a hoop (see measurements). The skirt has a lovely lace w/ red ribbon woven though around the hemline. Plaid is matched & aligned at the skirt's back seam. Back seam is pinked. I am also listing a woman's caroling outfit of the same fabric if you want a mother/daughter set.
