Description: Diamond and sapphire Art Deco ring c. 1920 thought to be made in England. It has a leather ring case. Size 7 3/4. Faceted sapphire, weighing approximately 1.38 CT, is surrounded by 24 single cut diamonds. See 1995 GIA appraisal for more details. This is a beautiful example of a 1920’s Art Deco ring. It has a great period design with filigree platinum work. The ring is adorned with bright old mine cut diamonds and a central blue sapphire. The ring is unmarked but tests to be platinum. The attached GIA appraisal of $3000.00 was done in 1995. A recent verbal appraisal was updated to $3800.00.
